You are making your desert dreams come true when you sign up for this overnight desert safari and stay experience. On the day of experience get picked up from the hotel and head to the desert. Just as the city sights fade and the desert begins to appear, be ready to start the day’s activities with an optional quad bike ride.
Dune bashing & Sand boarding Experiences
What could be more adrenaline-rushing than speeding through the ups and downs of sandy dunes? Experience the real thrill of bashing into the dunes as our experienced driver takes you for a dune bashing activity. If you’re still up for some adventure, try sandboarding and glide seamlessly through the slopes in the desert.
Al Khayma Desert Camp & Camel Ride
Get welcomed at the Al Khayma Camp in a traditional way with Arabic coffee, sweet treats, and dates. You can take your time to refresh and settle in the camp and then, go ahead with enjoying activities such as camel riding. By evening, you’ll get to click creative photographs of the dunes covered in the golden rays of the setting sun.
Bedouin Activities
Back at the camp, the bedouin activities are sure to keep you engaged and entertained. Enjoy a complete makeover by dressing up in traditional Arab clothes and try henna painting to feel like a true Bedouin. While adorning the Arab attire, don’t miss the chance to click pictures with majestic falcons! If you’d like to try out Shisha, the camp also offers you that option.
3-Cuisine Dinner and Stargazing
At dinner, find yourself surrounded by a hearty feast, fully packed with Emirati, Moroccan, and Arabian delicacies from the Michelin-starred Al Khayma Heritage Restaurant. Taste the wonders of three cuisines as we entertain you with traditional Fire Show, Tanoura, and ladies’ Khaliji dances. Give the best closure for the day by spotting the stars with a telescope on a stargazing session.
Sunrise Camel Trekking & Traditional Breakfast
The next day, rise early to watch the first rays of sun falling on the dunes. Hop on the camel for one more time for a peaceful and refreshing morning trek. A delicious Arab breakfast will be offered to you when you reach the camp.
With loads of memories, we’ll then wrap up the desert experience and head back to the hotel.
GOOD TO KNOW
- Quad biking is a self-driving activity taken at your own risk and the activity provider’s insurance does not cover it. Any accidents or damages from the activity will be the sole responsibility of the rider and passenger
- International travel insurance is recommended as self-driving activities are prone to risk, possibly leading to serious injury
- A passport copy for tourists and an ID copy for residents are required
- Pickup timing may change due to summer heat: 1 hour earlier in the morning and 1 hour later in the afternoon
- Casual clothing is advised in summer, and a jacket in winter
- Avoid bringing valuables and be cautious with henna if you have sensitive skin
- Individuals with back problems, or disabilities, or those aged 60 and above are advised against riding camels
