When you arrive at the dune buggy center in the Lahbab desert, an experienced safari captain will brief you about the important safety instructions and help you get kitted out with all the necessary safety gear.

Thrilling Dune Buggy Drive

Just when you feel ready, make yourself comfortable in the 1000cc Polaris buggy and drive it out to the sand dunes. For the next hour, take on the desert with full energy by racing your buggy through the slopes and sandy trails and feel your heart thumping in excitement with every turn you take. Wish to keep the fun going? Then, try the sandboarding activity, where all you have to do is balance on the sandboard and glide down the slopes.

Desert Activities and Al Khyama Camp Experience

For those who have opted for the 6-hour option, the journey continues with a visit to the Al Khayma Desert Camp. When you step inside the camp, you will be welcomed in their traditional style with refreshments to feel recharged for the activities ahead. The desert experience is never complete without a camel ride. So, don’t forget to try camel riding and feeding sessions to get up close with the ships of the desert. While at the camp, you can also keep yourself engaged by taking part in camp activities such as henna painting and shisha smoking if preferred. When it’s time for dinner, get treated to a delicious BBQ Dinner with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options while enjoying the live entertainment shows.
